About Heather McCartney

Heather McCartney is a registered psychotherapist with  the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and is a  Professional Member of the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy (WMIP).  A former editor of the WMIP Journal, she is Chair of the Jungian Training Committee at the Institute. This is a qualifiying course in Analytical Psychotherapy.

She offers psychotherapy and counselling to individuals, and supervision or professional consultation to clinical and educational psychologists, clergy and other health professionals.

She lectures and teaches on themes related to psychotherapy. Her most recent paper was ‘Who do you think you are? : The use of genealogy in the service of individuation’,  Public Lecture Series, The Jungian Training, Birmingham 2011.

Heather can also offer psychotherapy / counselling to speakers of German or French.
